Chinese automaker XPeng sold 1,693 vehicles across its European markets in June, a 48.8% increase from May’s 1,138 units — excluding Finland, where registration data was not yet available as of Monday.
The June total also marked a 170% jump from the 627 vehicles sold in the same month last year, when XPeng was active in fewer markets, including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Late last month, the brand officially launched in Italy, Slovakia and Czech Republic — with the first registrations in these markets expected to be reported this month.

Over the last twelve months, XPeng began sales in several markets including Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, the UK, Ireland, Finland, among others.
Registrations for the brand’s models in Europe fluctuate month over month, as the vehicles are only produced in China, in its Zhaoqing and Guangzhou plants, meaning deliveries are subject to the arrival of cargo ships in the Old Continent.
In Sweden, the brand sold 72 vehicles last month — down from the 106 vehicles it had registered a month before, but 157.1% up from the same period last year.
In Norway, XPeng set a new sales record with 346 vehicles, up 30 units from May and the triple units it sold a year ago.
Sales in the Danish market reached 183 vehicles in the country last month, as the brand delivered its 5,000-th vehicle since it arrived in the market two years ago.
Data from Mobility Denmark showed that its the second consecutive time sales decline month over month, despite registrations being up from a year ago.
In Iceland, 29 vehicles were sold in June, one unit above the previous month. A year ago, the brand had registered three units in the country.
In the Netherlands, registrations fell from 114 to 67 units sequentially, according to data from the BOVAG. In June 2024, the brand had sold 98 units.
In the Benelux (Belgium and Luxembourg), the company sold 115 units last month, a surge from the 12 vehicles sold a year ago.
XPeng launched in Germany and France a year ago. The brand sold 240 and 391 vehicles in each of the markets, setting new sales records in the two countries, according to national official data.
Data shared by Portugal’s ACAP showed that the company registered 72 vehicles in June, down by 10 units from May.
The Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers does not share vehicle registrations by brand. According to the EU-EVs platform, the Chinese automaker registered 63 units in Spain, six units above the previous month.
In the UK, where XPeng launched three months ago, it sold 114 vehicles — the first time registrations went over 100 monthly units. The company currently features only one right-hand drive model in the market: the G6 SUV.
The company announced expansion to Ireland and Finland. National data showed that XPeng registered only one unit in Ireland last month. In May, it had sold 8 units.
Traficom, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, which shares data from vehicle registrations per brand, does not disclose figures for XPeng sales.
According to EU-EVs, XPeng sold 14 vehicles in May. However, no numbers have been published for June yet.
The brand will enter the Italian market with the refreshed versions of the G6 and G9 SUVs, which are being brought to Europe after being launched earlier this year in China. Deliveries are set to start later this month.
XPeng recently revealed it is entering Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.
The company aims to more than double the number of countries it operates in from 30 to 60 this year while doubling annual vehicle deliveries to over 380,000.
XPeng announced last week that it delivered 34,611 vehicles in June, a 224% surge year over year. In the first half of 2025, the brand sold 197,189 units, achieving 53% of its annual target.
