XPeng Enters Pakistan With Fully-Electric G6 and X9 Models

Chinese carmaker XPeng is expanding to Pakistan, as it nears completion of its 60-market target for 2025.

The company has partnered with the local distributor GuGo Motors, which also represents GAC‘s Aion brand and Dongfeng‘s joint venture with Seres Group, DFSK.

XPeng‘s lineup in Pakistan will include the fully electric five seat SUV G6 and the multi-purpose van (MPV) X9, according to local media reports.

According to PakWheels, an automotive marketplace that held its New Wheels Expo event recently, the G6 will be offered in three variants.

The Standard Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) is priced from PKR 14.5 million ($51,800), while the Long Range version begins at PKR 15.5 million ($55,375).

The Performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) starts from PKR 18.5 million, equivalent to $66,100.

The X9 will be offered in its Long Range, Two-Wheel Drive (2WD), Pro+ version. The multi-purpose van will be priced at 28.5 million ($101,800).

According to PakWheels’ website, the vehicles are expected to be available in January 2026.

However, the company has not confirmed the launch nor revealed a timeline for it.

Middle East and Southwest Asia

Despite a local report from Times of India in April indicating XPeng‘s interest in launching there, the brand is not yet available in the neighboring country, where EV adoption remains low.

India applies duties of up to 100% on imported electric vehicles, which can be reduced for automakers opting to produce locally.

Despite opening several locations in India, Tesla, which recently entered the market, has struggled to gain traction.

XPeng has been rapidly expanding in the Middle East and Southwest Asia.

The company entered Qatar in late October, joining other markets such as the UAE, Azerbaijan, Jordan, and Lebanon — where it launched throughout 2024.

Last week, XPeng announced that it had opened a new showroom in Egypt and a large service center in Cairo.

Additionally, the brand signed a strategic partnership with Axess Limited, a leading distributor in Mauritius, marking its entry into the East African market.

Considering both Pakistan and Mauritius, the Guangzhou-based brand is just three countries away from completing its goal of doubling its market presence to 60 markets in 2025.

2025 Market Expansion

In late November, the company expanded to Colombia, which became its 55th global market and third in America.

XPeng entered Uruguay in April 2025, partnering with the Paraguayan automotive group Santa Rosa.

A month earlier, the Guangzhou-based automaker had been present in the Guatemala Auto Show, also with both the G6 and G9 models.

Over the past year, XPeng, which had been initially active in the Nordics and Central Europe, more than tripled its presence in Europe.

The company has now expanded into Southern and Eastern Europe and also begun selling in the UK and Ireland.

Most recent launches include SlovakiaHungary and Slovenia, LithuaniaLatvia, and Estonia.

The company is now preparing for its first global product launch, with the new P7+ launching simultaneously across 36 markets.

By the end of November, XPeng doubled deliveries year-over-year, reaching the 380,000 unit target set at the beginning of the year, despite a sequential decline.
