XPeng registered 77 vehicles in the Netherlands in July, up 14.9% from June and 28.3% higher than the same month last year.
Data from the national association BOVAG revealed last Friday that the company sold 609 vehicles in the Netherlands in the first seven months of 2025, a 17% rise from last year’s 521 units.
In mid-July, the Guangzhou-based brand opened orders for the refreshed iterations of its G6 and G9 SUVs in several European countries, which included the Netherlands. By then, XPeng said that deliveries would begin “at the end of Summer.”
XPeng sold 54 units of the G6 SUV. The new iteration starts at €46,990 ($55,100), above the previous price of €42,990.
The G9 SUV now starts from €63,990 (up from the previous iteration’s €59,990), equivalent to $75,000. The most expensive model in the lineup accounted for 23 of the units sold.
In the Netherlands, XPeng‘s portfolio includes the early version of the P7 sedan. The model is priced from €49,990, equivalent to $58,600. No units were sold last month.
A revamped iteration of the sedan will be unveiled in China on Wednesday (August 6). It is unclear when or if the model will be available in Europe.
Last month, over 28,000 new vehicles were sold in the Netherlands, from which 8,929 were battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The market share of fully electrics reached 30.8%.
The country’s best-selling brand was Kia, with more than 3,600 vehicles sold. The Kia Picanto and Kia EV3 ranked as the first and second best-selling models in the country.
Regarding only new energy vehicles (NEV), Tesla’s sales plunged 62% year over year to 443 vehicles.
BYD was the best-seller among Chinese brands, with 300 hybrid and fully electric vehicles sold last in the Dutch market, while Geely-backed Polestar and Zeekr registered 179 and 144 units, respectively.
XPeng continues to expand its presence across the globe, with deliveries reaching 36,717 vehicles last month — a new record for the brand.
In Europe, the automaker officially entered into its 18th European market, the Czech Republic, in early July, and announced expansion to to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.
