XPeng delivered 30,453 electric vehicles in February, a 570% increase from a year earlier, when sales were at a low base before the company’s demand ramped up later in 2024.
For the third consecutive month, deliveries of Mona M03 — its cheapest model ever — surpassed 15,000 units representing about 50% of the brand’s sales.

The brand started 2024 deliveries with lower than expected numbers closing the first quarter with only about 21,200 vehicles delivered. However, with the launch of new and cheaper models, the Guangzhou-based carmaker was able to ramp up sales and delivered as many units in September alone as in the first entire quarter.
With the goal of doubling annual sales this year, XPeng is preparing the launch of its first hybrid vehicle. The model will be an SUV and has already been seen roadtesting in China.
Amid the launch of Tesla’s supervised Full Self Driving (FSD) software in China, the chief executive He Xiaopeng said the company will soon do comparison tests with its in-house developed model — which also requires no LiDAR technology.
XPeng on Friday unveiled a refreshed version of its G6 SUV, the company’s most affordable SUV model. The vehicle is set to launch in China in the coming weeks, with pricing to be announced ahead of the start of deliveries.
Earlier this week, XPeng said it is expanding into Poland and plans to enter Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia in the second quarter.
