XPeng Crosses 3,000 Deliveries in Germany Since May 2024 Launch

Chinese automaker XPeng announced on Friday that it has reached 3,000 vehicles delivered in Germany, after entering this market in May 2024.

The 3,000th unit sold was the AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) Performance trim of the G6 fully electric mid-size SUV, the brand’s entry level in its European markets.

Later this year, the company founded and led by He Xiaopeng will begin deliveries of its best-selling model — the second generation Mona 03 — across its 28 markets on the Old Continent.

XPeng expanded to the German market in May 2024.

As seen with other brands that mainly produce their vehicles overseas, monthly registration figures fluctuate largely due to logistics scheduling.

In October 2024, the automaker reached 100 deliveries in a single month for the first time, later surpassing the 200-unit monthly mark last April — with 207 vehicles sold.

Up until the end of the year, October and November 2025 showed the strongest results for XPeng with 359 and 351 deliveries, respectively.

With a total of 426 registrations, last December became the strongest-ever month for the brand, according to data released earlier this month by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).

The figures surged 330% compared to December 2024 and marked the first time the brand had surpassed the 400-unit monthly mark.

Last year, in Germany, XPeng rose 660.8% to 2,990 vehicles compared to 2024.

The brand also saw growth in the neighbouring Netherlands, where XPeng jumped 49% year-over-year, with 1,402 units.

Currently, the automaker’s lineup in Germany includes the G6 and the G9 SUVs as well as the new P7+ sedan, which debuted at the Brussels Motor Show and was launched globally on January 9.

In the German market, the G6 model starts at €43,600 ($51,200), the G9 is priced from €59,600 ($69,990), and the P7+ is available from €46,600 ($54,720).

European Presence

Currently, with over 1,000 global stores, XPeng achieved its goal of expanding to 60 countries and regions last year, doubling the number from 2024.

The company owns 380 stores outside China – more than one-third of the total.

The majority of the brand’s international stores are found in Europe, which has 290 across 28 countries.

The Old Continent remains the core of the automaker’s international expansion, despite the European Commission tariffs imposed on imported Chinese EVs.

XPeng‘s first European market was Norway, which it entered back in 2021, followed by Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands two years later.

In 2024, the Guangzhou-based company began operating in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, and Portugal.

The brand entered Finland, Ireland, and the UK early last year, expanding later to Austria, SlovakiaHungary, SloveniaLithuaniaLatvia, and Estonia.

Specifically, Austria is also where XPeng has begun assembling two of its models in a partnership with Magna Steyr, from last September.

After launching the P7+ sedan, the Chinese company plans to debut its Mona series to Europe this year, its founder and CEO He Xiaopeng revealed during last year’s IAA Auto Show in Munich.

The X9 seven-seat MPV is also scheduled to enter European markets later this year.

Global Exports

XPeng‘s export volumes were on a steady rise last year, with the G6 model at the forefront.

The company delivered a total of 45,008 vehicles overseas, rising 96% compared to 2024. The volumes have stabilized at a monthly rate of 5,ooo units from September onwards.

The G6 led the brand’s lineup with a 68% share, followed by the G9 at 17% and the X9 at 13%.

For this year, XPeng aims to sell between 550,000 and 600,000 vehicles globally.
