The Guangzhou-based carmaker Xpeng delivered on Friday its 10,000th vehicle in Europe, four years after having exported the first units to Europe. The company becomes the first Chinese EV startup to reach 10,000 units.
XPeng’s founder and CEO said on X he personally called the brand’s 10,000th customer in Europe. “Big thanks to every customer who shares our vision of future mobility, and to our amazing team for making this possible. Excited for the road ahead!” he added. The new XPeng owners received 10,000 km of free charging.

Since adopting a third-party dealership model, XPeng has accelerated its expansion, entering several new European markets this year, including France, Spain, and Portugal. Last month, the company signed an agreement to enter the UK market, where it plans to debut its entry-level SUV, the G6, with sales expected to begin early next year.
The 10,000th EV sold by XPeng in Europe was a G6 SUV, equipped with 800V high-voltage charging technology, enabling it to gain a 300 km range with just 10 minutes of charging. In Germany, the starting price of XPeng’s entry level SUV model is €43,600, equivalent to $45,300 USD.
Xpeng established its European headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in February 2021. Since then, it has set up offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Sweden to support its regional operations.
Globally, XPeng delivered 30,895 vehicles in November, marking the first time the company surpassed 30,000 units in a month.
llantis-backed brand Leapmotor registered 8,500 vehicles while GAC’s brand Aion recorded 6,900 units.
