Tesla Delivers 462,890 Vehicles in Q3, Up 6% Year over Year

Tesla said Wednesday it delivered 462,890 vehicles in the third quarter including 439,975 Model 3 and Model Y while its other models, including the Cybertruck, accounted for 22,915 units.

The figures represent a 6 percent growth year over year and 4 percent increase from the previous quarter but slightly miss consensus from Wall Street analysts who were expecting, on average, 463,897 vehicles delivered.

The company also revealed that produced 469,796 vehicles including 443,668 Model 3/Y and 26,128 Model X, S, Semi and Cybertrucks.

Tesla Energy continued to grow in the third quarter the company deploying 6.9 GWh of energy storage products, up 73 percent year over year.

Tesla said it will report its third quarter earnings results on October 23 with the habitual conference call scheduled for 5:30 pm eastern time.

Tesla has recently extended its 5-year, interest-free financing offer for Model 3 and Model Y models in China from the end of September until the end of October, the company announced on the social platform Weibo.
