Tesla Delivers 443,956 Vehicles in Q2 Beating Wall Street Estimates

Tesla announced on Tuesday that it delivered 443,956 electric vehicles in the second quarter of the year, while production reached 410,831 units. The company added that deployed 9.4 GWh of energy storage products during the quarter setting a new record.

Out of the nearly 444,000 units delivered, 21,551 were Model S, X, Semi, and Cybertrucks, and 422,405 were Model Y and Model 3. Wall Street had estimated Tesla to announce 438,000 units delivered for the second quarter.

During this period, Tesla produced 386,576 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, while the other models accounted for 24,255 units.

Later this week, Tesla will attend the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2024) in Shanghai, China. Held at the Shanghai World Expo Center, the four-day event will start on July 4.

According to the official website, Tesla will feature the debut of its iconic model Cybertruck, and also the latest generation of the humanoid robot, Optimus Gen 2.
