Tesla Cybertruck caught fire following an explosion near the main entrance of Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning, setting off the building’s fire alarm system.

As of the time of writing, firefighters and police are responding to the incident, which occurred near the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Further details, including the cause of the explosion, are not yet clear.

Authorities reported the vehicle fire at approximately 8:41 a.m. local time in the 2000 block of Fashion Show Drive, near the Fashion Show Mall and Trump Tower.

A video of the blaze was shared by the X user “kaaaassuu,” showing flames engulfing the vehicle as emergency crews arrived on the scene. Here’s one of the videos shared on social media.

Fire alarms were activated in the building, but it remains unclear whether hotel guests have been evacuated, according to local media.

Starting this Wednesday, the Tesla model now qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit, according to updated information on the Internal Revenue Service’s website. The model’s starting price is now at $72,490 for customers qualifying.
