Rivian Unveils 2026 R1T and R1S Pricing With Increases of Up to $1,090

Rivian on Thursday announced pricing for its 2026 model year R1T and R1S electric vehicles, as the EV maker prepares to roll out refreshed versions of its flagship models later this year.

The 2026 R1S SUV will start at $76,990 for the Dual-Motor Standard variant, while the 2026 R1T pickup begins at $70,990, according to the company.

Prices rise to $106,990 for the top-end Tri-Motor R1S and $100,990 for the Tri-Motor R1T, marking year-over-year increases of $1,090 for most trims.

Only the Dual Large variants of each model saw smaller price hikes, increasing by $90 compared with 2025 pricing.

Rivian has not yet disclosed pricing for the 2026 Quad-Motor variants.

The prices listed above exclude destination and freight charges, which will be $1,895 per vehicle for the 2026 model year, up from $1,800 previously.

Tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee, known as MKBHD, inadvertently revealed the 2026 R1T Quad-Motor pickup in a now-deleted video posted to social media platform X.

The clip showed updates including a redesigned front with a new NACS (North American Charging Standard) port and teal-colored Quad badging.

The vehicle also featured 22-inch “Ultra High Performance” wheels and a returning “Launch Green” paint exclusive to the Quad trim.

Rivian previously said it would adopt Tesla’s charging connector across all 2026 model-year vehicles, joining Ford and General Motors in shifting to the NACS standard.

The 2025 R1T Quad-Motor variant delivers 1,025 horsepower and 1,198 lb-ft of torque in Launch Mode, with a 0-60 mph time of under 2.5 seconds.
