Electric vehicle maker Rivian emailed new leasing offers for October on its R1S and R1T models on Wednesday. The company is expected to release its third-quarter production and delivery numbers in the next few days.
Leases for the 2025 R1S Tri-Motor SUV start at $1,199 per month for a 36-month term, with deliveries expected within one to six weeks, the company said in an email to customers.
The company has recently started shipping out models of its Gen 2 R1T and R1S EVs with the new tri-motor configuration.
Rivian is also offering the 2025 R1T Dual-Motor electric truck at $619 per month for a 24-month lease. Both offers include the $7,500 EV tax credit.
“Bring home R1S Tri with leases starting at $1,199 for 36 months.2 Includes $7,500 EV lease credit. Deliveries in just 1‑6 weeks,” Rivian said in the email shared in a forum.

For September, Motor Intelligence said it estimated 5,195 vehicles (up from 5,133 in August) and bringing year to date sales to 42,610 units.
RJ Scaringe, the founder and CEO of Rivian, has recently stressed that the global shift to 100 percent electric vehicles is inevitable, though the timeline remains uncertain.
Rivian recently partnered with Tesla to use its charging network, a decision Scaringe defended despite delays in Tesla providing adapters for Rivian vehicles.
“Tesla has been a great partner to us on this,” he said, adding that Tesla and Rivian engineers work closely to ensure compatibility and seamless charging experiences for customers.
