Electric vehicle maker Rivian said Friday it produced 13,157 vehicles in the third quarter of the year while delivering 10,018 units.
The delivery figures represent a decrease of 36 percent when compared to the same quarter of 2023 but a decline of 27 percent quarter over quarter.
The last time the Irvine-based manufacturer delivered less than 12,500 units was in the first three months of 2023.

The company reiterated it is experiencing production disruption due to a shared component on both R1 models and on the RCV platform, as EV reported last week.
As a result of the supply shortage, Rivian has cut its annual production guidance to be “between 47,000 and 49,000 vehicles.”
The company expects its annual deliveries to be in a range of 50,500 to 52,000 vehicles.
Earlier this week, Rivian emailed new leasing offers for October on its R1S and R1T models.
Leases for the 2025 R1S Tri-Motor SUV start at $1,199 per month for a 36-month term, with deliveries expected within one to six weeks, the company said in an email to customers.
The company has recently started shipping out models of its Gen 2 R1T and R1S EVs with the new tri-motor configuration.
