The U.S.-based technology company Nxu announced on Wednesday that it has secured a new patent for a novel methodology for capturing and displaying vehicle views.
Nxu has currently five issued patents and thirty-seven pending applications amid its process of “evaluating strategic alternatives” and cost reduction measures such as headcount reduction across Product, Engineering, Manufacturing as announced two weeks ago.
Specialized in energy storage and charging solutions, the patent portfolio of the startup covers areas such as battery, charging, and vehicle technology.
In a statement, Nxu Founder and chief executive Mark Hanchett, emphasised that the company “has always been focused on innovation” adding that the team “prioritized patenting its intellectual property “to protect this value”.
