Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio is extending its “chauffeur service” to customers of its sub-brand Onvo, the company’s head of Onvo user and service operations Xia Qinghua said on Monday.
“The highly acclaimed Concierge Service is now live! Loyal users, make your reservations quickly—whether for yourself or your family, you can enjoy an excellent travel experience, full of sincerity and care,” Onvo’s executive wrote on Weibo this Monday.
The service, which was launched by the EV maker Nio several years ago, is part of the company’s “Worry-Free Service,” which “covers more than 20 scenarios, including insurance, repair and maintenance, accident rescue, car wash, chauffeur service, and valet parking.”
In a video shared on Weibo, Xia Qinghua wrote, “At such times, you may not want a full-time driver. However, in many scenarios, like the ones I mentioned earlier—dropping off your kids, your wife, picking up your in-laws, heading to the hospital, or having someone drive your car home after you’ve had a drink—you might really need a professional driver.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing this service receive great feedback in the community, and I also encourage everyone to share their video experiences,” the executive added.

Onvo registered 1,800 units in China in the second week of the year, data shared by Li Auto showed last week. The sub-brand of Nio saw its figures fall nearly 22% after having recorded 2,300 units of its L60 SUV between December 29 and January 5.
January car sales are expected to decline from November’s levels, reflecting the typical year-end sales surge and reduced production during the eight-day Spring Festival holiday from January 28 to February 4.
In December, the family-oriented brand delivered 10,528 units fulfiling the promise of delivering over 10,000 units for the first time.
Deliveries began on September 28, with the brand adding a new battery supplier in early December to tackle supply disruption which limited deliveries in both October and November. The brand plans to expand its lineup with two new SUVs set to launch in 2025.
