Nio’s Sub-Brand Onvo Estimates Over 9,700 EV Deliveries Between Oct. 1–18

Nio‘s sub-brand Onvo said on Wednesday its 100,000th vehicle rolled off the production line.

Onvo‘s debut model, the five seat SUV L60, was pre-launched in May 2024 and launched a few months later on September 19.

The brand delivered its 10,000th unit in November, the 30,000th in February 2025 and the 50,000th last June.

“The 100,000th Onvo vehicle officially rolled off the production line today,” the company wrote on social media. “By this weekend, Onvo will also reach the milestone of 100,000 cumulative deliveries.”

As the family-oriented had delivered a total of 90,279 units as of the end of September, the forecast of delivering the 100,000th vehicle “this weekend” indicates that the brand will deliver 9,721 EVs between October 1 and 18/19.

The brand delivered 15,246 vehicles in September, contributing to Nio Group’s new record of 34,749 units across the three brands Nio, Onvo, and Firefly.

The brand’s chief Fei Shen, a long-time Nio executive who replaced Alan Ai last April, celebrated the 100,000th EV produced.

“100,000 Onvos, bringing joy to 100,000 families!” the executive wrote on Wednesday.

“We’d like to thank all the owners, partners, and team members who have accompanied us along the way,” he added.

As reported earlier this week, the brand has extended delivery times for both its models in China, with new orders now facing a waiting time that can surpass two months.

Customers placing an order for a five seat SUV L60 or a three row SUV L90 have now to wait for between seven and nine weeks.

Last month, the brand launched a facelift of its debut model with deliveries expected to begin across China later this month.

The company recently decided, earlier this year, to postpone the launch of the upcoming L80 SUV to 2026, prioritizing the ramp-up of production of the L90 and avoiding order backlogs experienced in the L60 launch.

As exclusively reported by EV last week, the Nio Group is expanding to Armenia.

Although the Nio brand and Firefly are the chosen ones to expand to several European markets, the Group is arriving in the Armenian market with its core brand and Onvo.
