Amid the publishing of its second quarter earnings results, Nio said Thursday it expects to deliver between 61,000 and 63,000 units.
Based on the 20,498 vehicles delivered in July and 20,176 in August, the company expects to deliver between 20,326 and 22,326 EVs in September.
If Nio delivers more than 21,209 vehicles this month, it will reach a new monthly record allowing the company to surpass 60,000 quarterly units for the first time in its 10-year history
For new purchases between September 5 and the end of the third quarter (September 30), the Shanghai-headquartered company announced in its App it is offering a series of incentives for both new purchases and trade-ins.
For new car purchases, incentives include up to 20,000 yuan ($2,800) for customization funds and two years of free NOP+ — its automated driving software — valued at 9,120 yuan ($1,300).

Additionally, new customers will get Nio‘s Battery as a Service (BaaS) service for free for one month when renting for four months. The offer has a maximum benefit of 13,536 yuan, equivalent to $1,909.
When trading in, customers can benefit from 20 free charging vouchers valued at 2,000 yuan ($282) and additional access to the NOP+ software for either 6 months or 1 year.
Nio’s more affordable sedan, the ET5, along with its station wagon variant, the ET5 Touring, and the 2024 ET7 Executive Edition, come with special promotional offers. For the ET5 and ET5 Touring, customers can enjoy optional package discounts.
The “20-inch five-spoke Huajing wheels” are available at a discounted price of 1,699 yuan ($240), while the “Qi Hui Orange brake calipers” are offered at their standard price of 3,500 yuan ($494).
For those purchasing the 2024 ET7 Executive Edition, there is an exclusive offer to select the “Nappa Genuine Leather Interior” at a 50 per cent discount, valued at 10,500 yuan ($1,480).
