Nio Expects to Deliver Between 24,869 and 27,869 EVs in June

Amid the release of its first quarter earnings results, the Shanghai-based EV manufacturer Nio said it expects vehicle deliveries to range between 72,000 and 75,000 units in the second quarter of the year.

Given it delivered 23,900 in April and 23,231 in May, the Shanghai-based group estimates deliveries to range between 24,869 and 27,869 EVs in June.

The result would mark the company’s highest monthly total this year, surpassing the 23,900 units delivered in April, and would be its second-best monthly sales performance to date.

The month will mark the first full month of deliveries for the refreshed ES6, EC6, ET5, and ET5 Touring models under the Nio brand.

It will also be the second full month of deliveries for the compact EV launched under Nio Group’s new budget brand, Firefly — the company’s most affordable model to date.

The company expects total revenue to range from 19.513 billion yuan ($2.689 billion) to 20.068 billion yuan ($2.765 billion), representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 11.8% to 15.0% compared to the same quarter in 2024.

The estimates for revenue indicate that sales for Onvo and Firefly models will drag the group’s average selling price lower.

The compact EV was launched last December in China and starts at 119,800 yuan ($16,630) when acquired with the battery pack.

The company announced earlier this Tuesday that it is expanding its European presence to seven new markets.

Until the end of 2026, the Shanghai-based Group will enter Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania with both its Nio and Firefly brands.

As of the time of writing, Nio shares are trading 5.40% lower at $3.30.
