Lucid Teams Up with WallBox to Provide 22kW Chargers in Europe

The US startup Lucid Motors signed a partnership on Monday with the electric vehicle (EV) charging company Wallbox to provide chargers to its European customers.

Lucid will now offer Wallbox Pulsar Max that provides up to 22kW of fast-charging power to its customers in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland.

The company reported recently the delivery of 1,967 vehicles in the first quarter of the year while producing 1,728 units. In late February, Lucid provided a production guidance of “approximately 9,000” vehicles, up from the 8,428 units in 2023.

Lucid scheduled a conference call to discuss its first quarter 2024 financial results on May 6 at 5:30 pm Eastern time immediately after releasing its financial results.

Cláudio Afonso founded CARBA in early 2021 and launched the news blog EV later that year. Following a 1.5-year hiatus, he relaunched EV in April 2024. In late 2024, he also started AV, a blog dedicated to the autonomous vehicle industry.
