Lucid Partners With Kazenmaier to Launch Full-Service Leasing in Germany

Lucid Motors said on Wednesday it has partnered with Kazenmaier Leasing to expand access to its Air electric sedan in Germany, marking a further step in the company’s push into Europe’s largest car market.

Over the first eight months of 2025, the EV manufacturer registered 136 vehicles in the German market — up 63% when compared to the same period a year ago.

The California-based company said Kazenmaier will serve as a full-service leasing provider for its vehicles under a new program called “Lucid for Leaders,” aimed at executives, corporate fleets, and business decision-makers.

The EV maker “is now also offering its Lucid Air model range in full-service leasing via Kazenmaier” with the brand’s European chief Lawrence Hamilton saying “the fleet sector is a central component of our growth strategy.”

The package combines financing, maintenance, service support, and personal handover of vehicles.

The Air lineup will be offered under the Kazenmaier program, with the Air Pure starting from €899 a month on a 36-month term with 10,000 kilometers annually and no down payment.

The package includes maintenance and wear costs, with a free charging card included for the first 50 orders.

The program covers all the trims of Lucid Air models including the entry-level Pure, the Touring, the Grand Touring , and the luxury-€250,000 Sapphire.

The partnership adds to Lucid’s own leasing campaigns launched in Germany. Last week, Lucid said leasing for the Air Pure now starts at €699 on a separate offer requiring an upfront payment of €8,500.

As reported last week, this represents a 30% reduction compared with the €999 monthly rate offered when Lucid and CA Auto Bank first launched leasing in October 2023.

The Air Touring is being promoted from €899 a month, while the Air Grand Touring is listed at €999.

The leasing expansion comes as Lucid seeks to build momentum in Germany following weak volumes earlier this year.

Registrations in July rose to 46 vehicles, the highest monthly figure since November 2024, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).

The company had not exceeded 45 units in a single month since last autumn, when deliveries surpassed 100 vehicles in October and November following a fleet deal with rental company Sixt.

In August, the company registered 17 vehicles taking year to date registrations to 136 units.

Lucid plans to debut its upcoming Gravity SUV in Europe at the IAA Mobility show in Munich next week.

Senior executives Derek Jenkins and Eric Bach will host design and technology talks at the company’s Munich showroom during the event.

Cláudio Afonso founded CARBA in early 2021 and launched the news blog EV later that year. Following a 1.5-year hiatus, he relaunched EV in April 2024. In late 2024, he also started AV, a blog dedicated to the autonomous vehicle industry.
