Lucid Motors opened orders on Monday in Europe for its second model, the Gravity SUV, as the US electric-vehicle maker seeks to expand in the region while sales remain sluggish.
The Saudi-backed company announced the move alongside its presence at the IAA Munich Auto Show this week.
Orders are now open in Lucid’s four European markets: Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Norway.
The Gravity, a large SUV with seating for up to seven, launches with the top-trim Grand Touring edition.
A cheaper Touring variant will be available for order “soon,” though the company did not provide an exact date. Production of the entry-level trim is planned to begin in Arizona’s plant later this year.
Prices for the Gravity Touring start at €99,900 ($117,060) for the five-seat configuration.
The Grand Touring, which opened for order on Monday, is priced from €116,900 ($136,980), with a fully loaded version reaching €151,550 ($177,720).
Standard equipment includes the DreamDrive 2 Pro driver-assistance suite and the Surreal Sound Pro audio system.
Buyers can choose from five exterior colors, with black included as standard and others available for €1,100 ($1,290). A new “Lunar Titanium Metallic” finish will join the lineup in the second quarter of 2026.
The Gravity Grand Touring delivers 617 kW of power and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. It is powered by a 123 kWh battery, providing a WLTP combined range of up to 748 kilometers with an energy consumption of 18.2 kWh per 100 km.
Lucid’s European sales remain limited. The company registered 23 vehicles in August, compared with 16 a year earlier but down sharply from 84 units in July.
The automaker is showcasing the Gravity at the IAA Open Space in Munich’s city center from Sept. 9–14 at Brunnenhof, Stand RB680, as well as at its Lucid Studio at Odeonsplatz 2.
Quarterly revenue coming from Europe has stood between $4.3 million and $4.5 million for the last three quarters.
Lawrence Hamilton, Managing Director for Europe, said earlier this year that the company expects to be present across the UK, France, Italy, and Spain “over the next 18 months,” following the launch in Belgium and Denmark.
Lucid currently has showrooms in eight European cities: Oslo, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Geneva, Hilversum and Zurich, where a new location is scheduled to open this autumn.
