Lucid Named Mobility Partner of Nor-Shipping 2025 in Norway

Electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors is providing VIP shuttle services at Nor-Shipping 2025.

Nor-Shipping is a major maritime industry event taking place this week in Oslo and Lillestrøm, Norway, as part of efforts to raise brand awareness in Europe.

The Newark-based premium brand has supplied two units of its Air luxury sedan to transport guests attending the 60th edition of Nor-Shipping, an event focused on the maritime and ocean industries.

The event runs from June 2 to 6 and is expected to draw thousands of industry leaders, policy makers and executives.

“This is the ideal VIP shuttle for participants,” said Lawrence Hamilton, Managing Director of Lucid Motors Europe. “The Lucid Air is a demonstration of visionary electric mobility – where sustainability, innovation, and luxury converge.”

The partnership follows Lucid’s appearance at the 2025 Gonet Geneva Open tennis tournament in May, where it also served as official mobility partner.

According to national registration data and the EU-EVs platform, the company sold six vehicles in Germany, one in the Netherlands, none in Norway, and three in Switzerland in April.

In May, according to EU-EVs, Lucid has not registered any vehicles in Norway in May.

The company has also partnered with luxury hotel chains, including a recent expansion of its collaboration with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Guests at select properties in North America, Europe, and the Middle East can reserve Lucid vehicles for personal use at no cost.

Nor-Shipping, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, is the largest edition to date, featuring expanded exhibition space and a week-long program of conferences and seminars.

Norway has set one of the world’s most ambitious climate goals, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
