Lucid Motors has announced its 2027 model year Gravity lineup, adding standard equipment across both trims, introducing a new Prestige Package on the Grand Touring, and discontinuing the range-topping Dream Edition.
The update comes six weeks after the company shut down its online configurator in February and told customers to buy from existing inventory until the new model year was revealed.
The configurator is now live with 2027 options.
As EV reported earlier on Thursday, the company had quietly listed 2027 model year pricing on its US website before the formal announcement.
The figures appeared in the fine print on Lucid‘s offers page, in footnotes tied to lease and financing terms.
The destination fee for both trims has risen to $1,850, up $200 from the $1,650 charged on 2026 models.
The Touring’s increase to $81,750 including destination is entirely attributable to the higher fee, while the Grand Touring rises to $100,750 with destination — reflecting both the $4,000 base price increase and the fee adjustment.
The 2027 model year transition applies only to the Gravity.
The Air sedan configurator remains open with 2026 pricing and no reference to a 2027 version appears on the offers page.
Incentive Gap
The 2027 Gravity does not currently qualify for the incentives Lucid has been running on 2026 models.
The $7,500 Lucid Credit available on 2026 Gravity leases is excluded from 2027 vehicles, and the $2,000 Conquest Offer for owners of competing brands also applies only to the outgoing version.
The 2026 Gravity remains available at 0% APR for up to 60 months, while the 2027 model year is offered at 4.99% APR for a similar term.
What Changed
The most significant shift across the lineup is that DreamDrive 2 Premium — Lucid‘s advanced driver-assistance system — is now standard on all Gravity models.
The system was previously optional and includes adaptive cruise control, lane centering, blind spot warning with active intervention, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and front and rear pedestrian detection.
An additional key fob is also now included at no extra cost on all trims.
The Touring carries over at $79,900 before destination, unchanged from the 2026 model year.
EPA-estimated range remains at 337 miles with 20/21-inch wheels, and output stays at 560 horsepower from dual electric motors.
The Touring’s optional packages — Comfort & Convenience, Technology, Power, Dynamic Handling, Towing, Surreal Sound Pro, and DreamDrive 2 Pro — remain available as before.
The Grand Touring sees a larger overhaul.
Lucid raised the base price to $98,900 before destination, up $4,000 from the 2026 model year’s $94,900.
However, the 2027 Grand Touring now comes standard with the Comfort & Convenience Package, the Power Package, and 21/22-inch wheels — items that cost a combined $4,850 when optioned on the 2026 model.
The net effect is approximately $850 in additional content for the price increase.
The Comfort & Convenience Package adds a heated steering wheel, heated wipers, heated second-row seats, acoustic privacy glass, rear side sunshades, active cabin filtration, and soft-close doors.
The Power Package provides AC outlets with a combined 1.8 kilowatts of output.
New Prestige Package
For the Grand Touring, Lucid is introducing a new Prestige Package starting at $10,500 in the United States and C$14,000 in Canada.
The bundle combines 22/23-inch wheels, the Surreal Sound Pro 22-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos, the Dynamic Handling Package with rear-wheel steering and triple-rate air suspension, and third-row seating for up to seven passengers.
Purchasing those items individually on the 2026 model would have cost $12,200 — making the Prestige Package roughly $1,700 cheaper than the sum of its parts.
The package will be available from this summer.
Lucid described the Prestige Package as the “most comprehensively equipped Lucid Gravity in the lineup.”
For Grand Touring models not equipped with the package, no-charge wheel alternatives and no-charge interior choices remain available.
Dream Edition Dropped
The 2027 lineup consists of two trims — Touring and Grand Touring — down from three in 2026.
The Dream Edition, which started at $139,900 and offered 1,070 horsepower from a more aggressively tuned dual-motor powertrain, does not carry forward into the new model year.
The company is preparing to launch its third and fourth models — the mid-size Cosmos and Earth SUVs — which were announced at the March 12 Investor Day alongside the brand’s long-term production roadmap.
Context
The update arrives as the Gravity ramp enters its most critical phase.
Lucid is targeting production of 25,000 to 27,000 vehicles in 2026, with interim CEO Marc Winterhoff saying the Gravity will account for the “vast majority” of additional output this year.
The model won the 2026 World Luxury Car of the Year award on Wednesday, a day before the 2027 model year announcement.
Lucid has been aggressively discounting the outgoing 2026 Gravity in recent months, offering up to $12,500 in combined lease incentives, 0% financing for up to 60 months, and trade-in allowances for Tesla, Rivian, and Polestar owners.
The incentive push, which EV has tracked since October, preceded the model year transition.
The company is expected to disclose first-quarter 2026 production and delivery figures later this week, with full financial results scheduled for April 29.
Pricing
The Touring variant starts from $79,900 in the US and from C$113,500 in Canada.

All US prices exclude tax, title, license, options, destination, and documentation fees.
