Lucid Motors has appointed Brian K. Tomkiel as its new General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Compliance Officer, effective October 28, following the departure of Matthew Everitt in September.

Tomkiel, who joined the electric vehicle maker in July 2021 as Associate General Counsel and Privacy Officer, was most recently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer. The executive replaces Everitt, who left Lucid after 11 months to join Carrier as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.
