EV maker Lucid Motors unveiled on Tuesday its 2026 model year Air lineup, with one of the trims gaining over 6% of range while prices increased across all trims by up to $4,000.
The most notable change comes to the Air Touring variant, which receives a more than 6% boost in EPA-estimated range to 431 miles, driven by the adoption of higher-density battery cells.
“For 2026, Lucid Air Touring increases its EPA-estimated range over 6 percent to 431 miles, while the rest of the Air lineup maintains range leadership with up to 512 miles of EPA-estimated range from Air Grand Touring,” the company said in a statement.
The other trims of the Air sedan maintained the same range.
Across the lineup, Lucid is introducing a revised air conditioning compressor, initially developed for the Gravity SUV, to improve cabin cooling and reduce ambient noise. A Lucid Mobile Charging Cable Kit is now standard on all trims, alongside an expanded list of equipment and new wheel design options.
The Air Grand Touring gains 20-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats with massage as standard, while the Air Pure receives additional comfort upgrades through an optional rear center console and expanded seat configurations.
Lucid is also offering a new optional 19-inch “Aeronaut” wheel, available in Platinum or Stealth finishes, across most trims.
US pricing for the 2026 model year starts at $70,900 for the Air Pure, $79,900 for the Touring, and $114,900 for the Grand Touring.
The Pure and Touring trims saw a $1,000 price increase while the price of the Grand Touring trim rose by $4,000.

Earlier this month, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff, when questioned about the impact of the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, said there was “no other way around it,” referring to the higher prices consumers will face.
“For the American consumers, vehicles are going to be more expensive under the tariff regime. There’s no other way around it,” he stated. “There’s a reason the supply chain is so global.”
The updated models are available for configuration starting this Tuesday.
Lucid also said this Tuesday that its Air sedans will start to have access to Tesla’s supercharger network beginning on the last day of July.
The brand’s customers can acquire a Lucid-approved adapter priced at $220, the company said.
According to a recent range test conducted by the Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF), the Grand Touring trim of the Lucid Air ranked first among 27 electric vehicles tested in the Scandinavian country.
The driving range of the model was 130 km short of the 960 km it advertises, making it the model with the largest negative deviation (-13%) from the range claimed by the brand.
The Grand Touring variant of the US brand’s luxury sedan is priced from NOK 1,309,000 ($129,400). Prices for the entry-level trim begin at NOK 950,000 ($93,900).
However, at a range of 832 km, the model set a record-high among EVs in Norway.
