Zeekr Starts Deliveries of 7X SUV in Europe

Geely-backed premium brand Zeekr delivered its first 7X SUV in Norway over the weekend, marking the beginning of deliveries in Europe.

In mid-December, the company began taking orders for the seven-seat SUV in Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands, stating at the time that deliveries would start in “summer 2025.”

According to Lars Fredrik Fløymo, the brand’s Head of Marketing for the Norwegian market, “in the weeks and months ahead, hundreds of Zeekr 7X will roll out to customers across the country.”

“Norway is the world’s most mature EV market – the toughest proving ground we could ask for,” Fløymo highlighted in a LinkedIn post. “Expectations here aren’t just high – they’re relentless.”

On social media, Zeekr said on LinkedIn that more markets will follow “very soon.”

The brand entered Norway in 2023 and currently offers three fully electric models: the station wagon Zeekr 001, the urban SUV Zeekr X and the most recent Zeekr 7X.

Prices for the shooting brake 001 start at 533,282 NOK ($51,680), for a long-range version. The brand launched in Europe with the model, with its first delivery in late 2023 in the Netherlands.

The company’s best-selling model is the Zeekr X, which represented 70 out of the 97 units sold last month in Norway, according to the data platform EU-EVs. The urban SUV is priced from 393,969 NOK ($38,180).

The 7X starts from 500,087 NOK ($48,460). The model was launched in China last September — in its domestic market, the EV exceeded 30,000 units delivered in just 75 days.

The model is available in the Long Range, Premium and and Performance variants. The two first are single-motor rear-wheel drive models, the Performance one is a dual-motor four-wheel-drive one.

Last week, Zeekr Vice President Mars Chen announced that the 7X SUV will be launching in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through a partnership with AW Rostamani.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September and the 9X MPV will join the lineup in Dubai.

In April, Zeekr saw its sales grow in both the Norway and the Netherlands, despite a 51% drop in Sweden. Across the three markets, Zeekr sold 259 electric vehicles in April.

Last month, Zeekr debuted its full-size SUV, the Zeekr 9X, at the Shanghai Auto Show, where the company also unveiled its plug-in hybrid technology.

Having produced only fully electric EVs for the last four years, the brand prepares to release two hybrid SUVs in the third and fourth quarters.

A week ago, the automaker announced its quarterly earnings results, posting a 1.1% revenue increase to 22 billion yuan ($3.05 billion) while narrowing net losses by 60%.

The brand aims to deliver 320,000 vehicles in 2025, a 40% increase from the previous year, part of the broader Zeekr group goal — 0f 710,000 units, including Lynk&Co’s sales.

Zeekr is preparing to enter Germany via local dealership networks, EV learned in late April. The brand had initially intended to enter the country with a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model in 2024.
