Zeekr Group, the premium electric vehicle unit under Geely, said on Tuesday it delivered 15,422 vehicles in March under its main Zeekr brand, up 18.5% from a year earlier.

Sister brand Lynk & Co registered 25,293 units, bringing the group’s total monthly deliveries to 40,715 vehicles. Lynk & Co deliveries surged nearly 29% year-on-year.

The company is targeting group-wide sales of 710,000 vehicles in 2025, representing a 40% increase from last year. Zeekr aims to contribute 320,000 units to that goal, supported by the launch of three new models this year.

Zeekr plans to unveil its plug-in hybrid technology at the Shanghai Auto Show later this month as it prepares to enter the hybrid segment. The company will roll out a shooting brake version of the Zeekr 007 in the second quarter, followed by one SUV in the third quarter and another in the fourth. All three models will offer hybrid variants.

Zeekr’s 7GT model is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries by mid-April. The company also plans to showcase its 1,200 kW (1.2MW) ultra-fast charging technology and PHEV system during the Shanghai event.

Lynk & Co’s upcoming flagship model, the Lynk & Co 900, recorded 14,600 pre-sale orders within 24 hours of launch. The model is expected to officially hit the market by the end of April.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Zeekr reported an 85% increase in gross profit to a record level, while narrowing its net loss by 72%. Quarterly deliveries nearly doubled, rising 99.8% from a year earlier to around 80,000 vehicles.

That growth lifted Zeekr’s automotive revenue 82% year-on-year in the quarter to 19.3 billion yuan ($2.6 billion).

Earlier this month, Zeekr said it would offer its advanced driver-assistance system, known as Zeekr G-Pilot, free of charge to customers in China. The announcement followed Tesla’s rollout of its supervised Full Self-Driving software in the country.

Zeekr G-Pilot includes features such as the General Automated Evasion System (G-AES), which helps avoid obstacles, and Full-Capacity Vehicle-to-Parking (V2P), an advanced automated parking system. The company said the technology is designed to enhance both safety and driving automation.
