Premium brand Zeekr announced on Friday that it has entered the Swiss market, its seventh in Europe, following recent expansions into Belgium and Denmark.
The automaker entered Europe via Sweden and the Netherlands in late 2023. In April, EV learned that Zeekr is preparing to enter Germany via local dealership networks.
In Switzerland, the Gothenburg-headquartered brand has partnered with the local distributor ‘Emil Frey Gruppe Schweiz,’ which also represents Geely-backed Volvo and Polestar in the country.
The group is also responsible for Stellantis brands in the country, which include Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot, among others.
“With 20% of new car registrations now electric, Switzerland’s strong demand for premium EVs makes it the perfect setting for Zeekr’s next European chapter,” the brand said on LinkedIn.
Zeekr‘s lineup in the Swiss market will feature the station wagon Zeekr 001, which is priced from 59,000 CHF ($74,300), and the urban SUV Zeekr X, with the entry-level trim available from 37,990 CHF ($47,900).
The 7X SUV, for which deliveries in Europe started recently, will begin at 53,990 CHF, equivalent to $68,000.
The brand claims the model to have a range of 480 km (about 300 miles) and to be capable of charging from 10 to 80% in 13 minutes.
The model became the automaker’s best-seller in several markets last month.
In Norway, Zeekr sold 109 units, from which 86 were 7X SUVs. It is priced from 500,087 NOK ($49,500) in the market.
From the 155 vehicles the brand listed in Sweden last month, the model represented 132. Prices in the country start from 579,000 SEK ($60,900). Sister brand Polestar reached a new monthly sales record in the country, with 1,010 EVs.
The Zeekr 7X represented 99 of the total 150 Zeekr vehicles sold in the Netherlands last month. Prices begin at €52,990, equivalent to $62,100. Polestar sold 434 units, also a new record in the country.
In Denmark, where it launched late last month, it sold 14 vehicles, according to Mobility Denmark. However, sales from each model were not revealed by the platform.
Last month, the brand’s global deliveries fell both year over year and sequentially to 16,702 vehicles.
Zeekr aims to deliver 320,000 vehicles by year-end. In the first half of 2025, the brand delivered 90,730 units, meaning it reached 28.4% of the target.
Last week, the company announced on Weibo that it rolled out its 500,000th mass-produced vehicle since its launch.
