Zeekr Brand Sales Fall Both Sequentially and Year on Year

Geely-backed brand Zeekr announced on Tuesday it delivered 16,702 vehicles in June, representing a 16.9% decline from the 20,106 units rolled out a year ago.

Sequentially, sales also fell from the 18,908 EVs recorded in May.

Lynk & Co, which recently joined the Zeekr Group, delivered 26,310 vehicles — down 4.8% sequentially.

In the second quarter of the year, sales of the Zeekr brand dropped 10% to 49,337 vehicles.

As it typically happens, deliveries were higher in the second quarter in comparison to the first one.

Zeekr aims to deliver 320,000 vehicles by year-end. From January 1 to June 30, the brand delivered 90,730 units, meaning it reached 28.4% of the target.

The Zeekr Group, which includes both the Zeekr brand and Lynk&Co since February, set a guidance of 710,000 units delivered in 2025.

Year to date, the Group registered 214,800 vehicles, which represented 30.3% of the yearly target.

Last week, Zeekr announced on Weibo it rolled out its 500,000th mass-produced vehicle.

The automaker also said on Monday that it delivered its first Zeekr X units in Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand.

Zeekr recently started deliveries of its 7X SUV in Europe. The model was launched in China in September 2024.

The SUV is now arriving in right-hand drive markets, as it was launched in Hong Kong last week and is set to be released in Australia.

Earlier this month, the 7X SUV set a new charging record in Europe, charging from 10 to 80% in 17 minutes and 54 second, and reaching peak charging power of 413 kW at 12% state of charge.

recently conducted range test in Norway also showed that the model can reach 585 km, 8% above the range it claims to have.

Zeekr is currently present in Sweden, where it is headquartered, Norway, Netherlands and Belgium. It announced expansion to Denmark in mid-June.

The Scandinavian country became its fifth market in the old continent. As EV reported earlier this year, the brand is preparing to enter Germany, also through a local distributor.

Sales in China

Zeekr sold 3,300 vehicles in China last week, according to registration data shared on Chinese social media on Tuesday.

The figures from June 23 to 29 showed a slight increase from the 3,100 units sold in the prior week.

The brand was outperformed by its main competitor in the premium sector, the Nio brand, which registered 3,800 EVs.

The gap between the two tightened by the end of the month, after Zeekr led sales for three consecutive weeks.
