Zeekr 7X SUV Launches in Hong Kong, First Right-Hand Drive Market

Zeekr has launched on Thursday its Zeekr 7X in Hong Kong, the first right-hand drive market to receive the SUV.

Prices for the seven-seater will start at HK$269,900, which is equivalent to $34,400. In mainland China, the model is priced from 229,900 yuan ($32,000).

The model adopts a800V architecture and is available in two battery options of 75 kWh and 100 kWh.

The single-motor model has a maximum power output of 310 kW and a CLTC range of 605 km or 780 km.

The dual-motor all-wheel-drive model’s combined maximum power of the front and rear motors is 475 kW, with a CLTC range of 705 km.

The model was released in China in September 2024 and deliveries surpassed 30,000 units after just 75 days on the market, according to the brand.

Orders opened in in mid-December in European markets, such as Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands, and deliveries started in mid-May.

Zeekr expanded to the region a year ago. Hong Kong was among the first Zeekr right-hand drive markets, along with Macau.

The expansion was announced in late 2023, when Zeekr revealed its partnership with Southern China distributor Kam Lung Motor Group in the two regions.

The Geely-backed brand launched in Hong Kong with its Zeekr X SUV, which is priced from and Zeekr 009 MPV.

Prices for the standard version of the X model begin at HK$239,900 ($30,600), while the luxury multi-purpose van starts at HK$660,000 ($84,100).

Zeekr entered Australia in October 2024, which became its third right-hand drive market. The lineup also included the X SUV and the 009 MPV.

In the end of May, official documents from dealerships posted on a Facebook group showed that the 7X SUV will be available in Australia later this year.

Prices will start between AU$65,000 and AU$70,000 ($42,300-$45,600) for the entry-level variant. The documents showed that the three variants will be available in the market.

Last week, the first Zeekr 7X unit shipped to Slovakia set a new charging record in Europe, charging from 10 to 80% in 17 minutes and 54 seconds and reaching a peak power of 413 kW at 12% SoC.

The 7X was also tested in China before, where it reached 450 kW peak charging, taking 12 minutes to go from 0 to 80% SoC.

recently conducted range test in Norway showed that the model can reach 585 km, 8% above the range it claims to have.
