Electric vehicle (EV) startup Faraday Future announced Monday it delivered the third unit this year.
The company, which last week announced plans to launch a sub-brand targeting vehicles priced below $30,000 and $50,000, has delivered its debut model, the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance, to the agency firm Born Leaders Entertainment in Hollywood.
Earlier this year, two internal whistleblowers claimed that the company founded by YT Jia has been “lying about some of the few sales it has announced to date,” TechCrunch reported in April.
Year to date, Faraday shares have lost about 87 per cent of their value based on Friday’s closing price.
The EV manufacturer added that Born Leaders Entertainment “may work together with FF on promotional opportunities, red carpet events and other high-profile engagements” as the company explores the B2B business.
The chief executive Matthias Aydt Global CEO of FF“We are thrilled to deliver an FF 91 2.0 to Born Leaders Entertainment, a prominent top celebrity agent in the entertainment and sports industry,” said Matthias Aydt Global CEO of FF. “We are looking forward to having more in-depth collaboration with top celebrities through Co-Creation with Born Leaders entertainment.”
Last week, the company said it is working towards finalizing definitive agreements to strengthen its supply chain and promote its range-extended technology in the U.S. market.
