“ClearMotion is set to announce additional OEM partners in the coming months and is poised to continue its accelerating global expansion in 2024”. This was the last sentence of ClearMotion’s statement last week when it opened its first production plant.
On Monday, the company backed by Nio Capital — which will manufacture proactive suspension and road sensing software for the upcoming Nio ET9 — posted teased on LinkedIn: “exciting news is coming down the road for ClearMotion this week”.

Never miss an update
Amid the opening, the company’s CEO, Christian Steinmann, mentioned that ClearMotion “plans to expand” its production capabilities for “future partnerships across the automotive industry”. It is expected that the supplier announces another premium manufacturer over the following days.
ClearMotion will produce up to 1.5 million units annually of its patented, high-bandwidth active suspension technology ClearMotion1. The product cancels “unwanted motion in cars,” the company stated. The technology reduces unwanted vibration by up to 75% providing a smoother and safer drive.
