Jeroen van Tilburg, former Tesla Head of Charging in the EMEA regions, will replace Michael Hajesch as CEO of the Charging company Ionity in May.

Tilburg joined Tesla in January 2018 and, in his 6 year tenure at the world’s largest EV manufacturer, he led the development and expansion of Tesla’s Supercharging network across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Ionity’s new CEO will take over the role on May 13th as the company’s current CEO Michael Hajesch will “pursue other ventures outside the company,” the company said.
