Canoo, a manufacturer of lifestyle delivery vehicles (LDV), has reportedly started shipping its LDV 130 model in the United States.

The company has recently withdrawn its guidance for revenue, manufacturing run rates, as well as the production and delivery of vehicles for 2024 and subsequent periods.

According to an email seen by EV, sent by Canoo’s Manager of Sales Operations, the model is priced at approximately $45,000 and qualifies for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.

“Canoo is currently shipping the LDV 130 commercial van (spec sheet attached). It is similar in size and space to the Ford Transit Connect, Ram Promaster City, or Nissan NV 200,” the Canoo executive said in the email sent on Tuesday.

“The Canoo is 100% electric and is priced at $44,450 plus destination. Even better, Canoo qualifies for the full $7,500 federal tax credit,” he added.

The Canoo LDV130 features an 80kWh battery and has an estimated EPA range of 217 miles. With 2 seats and between 200 and 350 horsepower (software-controlled), the model has a payload of 1,432 lbs.

The commercial van can charge from 20% to 80% in 32 min with DC Fast (Up to 150kW), according to the official spec sheet.

The U.S. EV tax credit, which can go up to $7,500, is available for new plug-in electric vehicles, including both fully electric cars and some plug-in hybrid models.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for sedans must be below $55,000 while SUVs, trucks, and vans should be priced below $80,000.

Earlier this week, the Texas-headquartered company secured an additional $2.66 million in funding from YA II PN Ltd., a unit of Yorkville Advisors, a new 8k filing revealed on Tuesday.

Canoo expects net proceeds of $2.5 million after deducting fees and a purchase price discount.

The funding was secured under a supplemental agreement to its existing Prepaid Advance Agreement (PPA).
