Avatr, the joint venture carmaker from Changan, Huawei, and the battery giant CATL, announced Tuesday it delivered 4,537 vehicles in September, representing a 47 percent growth from a year ago.
The company recorded its strongest months to date in December and January, delivering over 6,000 and 7,000 units, respectively. Since then, monthly deliveries have declined, typically ranging between 4,000 and 5,000 units.

Last week, the Chinese startup officially unveiled its third model, the Avatr 07, which will become the first one to have an extended-range version.
According to the manufacturer, the 07 model received 11,673 pre-orders within the first 20 hours.
The range-extended version of the Avatr 07 is priced between 219,900 yuan ($31,400) and 279,900 yuan ($39,900). The all-electric version is priced from 229,900 yuan ($32,800) to 289,900 yuan ($41,400).
In a statement, the brand noted that its first two models — the Avatr 11 and the Avatr 12 — received a new Avatr.OS 4.0 operating system update last month gaining access to new features including remote parking.
Both powertrains support high-speed charging, with the all-electric version capable of 420 kW peak charging power.
