According to the Chinese Official Trademark Report, NIO has filed trademarks for 8 new models, and one of them is the highly expected new SUV NIO ES7. The names filled for the potentially new models are: ET9, EE5, ES9, ET6, EC7, EZ7, EC5 and the upcoming ES7.
The trademarks were filed in May 2021, 5 months before William Li, Nio’s CEO, announce 3 new delivered vehicles for this year: ET7 annnounced on January 2021, ET5 released during the last Nio Day in December, and the expected SUV, Nio ES7 – the one that appears on this patents.
